THE GUTHRIE CENTER

Blue Flower Arts is proud to curate the annual Spoken Word Series at The Guthrie Center in Great Barrington, Massachusetts. The not-for-profit Guthrie Center was founded by Arlo Guthrie and is housed in the Old Trinity Church of Alice's Restaurant fame. The primary aim of the center is to create an environment where individuals and groups can come together to cultivate a deeper awareness of culture, humanity, and spirit.

This intimate venue seats 125 in the beautiful sanctuary and is ideal for readings, lectures, and workshops from May to October. In the winter months, smaller groups can gather in the comfortable and cozy front anteroom for talks, readings, or classes. A kitchen allows your group the ease of staying together for the entire day, including meals.
